Here you go,
In Windows Explorer, click Organize / Folder and Search options / View Tab.
Remove the Check Mark from the Always show Icons never Thumbnails option.
Click Apply / OK.

Hi everybody,
It seems that I've some kind of problem with the PREVIEW PANE of the EXPLORER which only works for pictures and not for others type of files ( for video it only shows a pic, doesn't work for .txt, .pdf etc).
Would you know how to fix this problem ?

2016-05-21T19:12:36+00:00 Just Changed Computers due to a harddrive failure. File explorer Preview pane worked fine prior to failure. File explorer on new computer will not display a preview ("No Preview Available") Both Computers were running Windows 10. The first computer was an upgrade. The new computer came with Windows 10 installed. I've tried with the "Always show Icons never Thumbnails option" both checked and unchecked......still displays "No Preview Available" Any suggestions on what I should try next ??

(Win7 Pro /O365, not previewing .xls/.xlsx/.doc/.docx, with an error message that we can't see, the window is truncated)
So far on one of my users' machines I've tried the Organize/view options, the sfc /scannow, repairing (Online repair) of Office, repairing Adobe Reader, changing the preview pane to be on/off/on.
Have not tried the Prevhost.exe test.
Will do that next and report back.
