I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

The drivers have been promised for over a year, is this just an empy promise to encourage pc users to buy the wheel...
I have a 360 but would love force feedback on BOTH platforms, as promised and still stated on microsofts site.
I just purchased an XBOX 360 steering wheel for my wireless gaming reciever. I have a pc running windows 7 and overall it's working as expected. Of course the only real problem is no force feedback. Fortunately I also have an Xbox but I'd still prefer drivers on the Windows side since I see the xbox nearing the end of it's run at which time I'll be keeping the steering wheel for the windows box.
This controller has the Microsoft logo on it. When buying, the hope was that it would be just as well supported as any of the 3rd party controllers, if not better.
I liken it to buying an Apple branded device for an apple computer or ipod.
Either way, thank you for making such a great product and bringing it to the PC. The XBOX line of controllers has brought gaming on the PC to a whole new level. The steering wheel is both beautiful to look at and very functional.
