I am trying to use my Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel in Windows 7 using the Wireless Gaming Receiver to connect it to my PC.
It connects fine and I can use the wheel in games, but I'm not getting any force feedback and I don't see it mentioned in the device configuration in the control panel.
This page: http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessgamingreceiver/ specifies that the wheel should have drivers available for Windows Vista in the future (I am guessing this page is well out of date) with force feedback but I can't find mention of these drivers anywhere.

Technically, this is a Windows 7 Driver Support question on when then Wireless Gaming Receiver drivers will be updated to provide force feedback support as was promised in the URL the previous poster provided.
I to would be interested in if this work is progressing. If it has been cancelled you may wish to notify marketing and get them to update the page in question.

I would request a REAL answer, preferably one with a driver attached, as it cant be that hard to make 1 employee use 30 mins to code/compile a new driver. i would never switch to apple, and that is why you won't listen. i can however promise you that this is NOT good pr, and i wont buy any stupid hardware until this is resolved. wouldn't it be a lot easier to make the drivers that to hold up for ____ like this for 2 years?

I loved this wheel for the 360, it was at a great price point too. I recently got an eyefinity setup on my PC with hopes that Dirt2 would be just as good but then the FFB was ____, a little research and I found this post. Good thing my buddy had a 50% off G27. I've ordered it and awaiting its arrival, too bad the 360 wheel is limited to the Xbox. RIP, unless they develop Triple screen gaming on the 360 with one Xbox which is very unlikely.... maybe the next xbox will have built in support for multi display with the price of LCD's these days much easier to afford this type of setup,
I waited for over a year on this driver but am now throwing in the towel. Have placed an order for the new Fanatec GT2 which will work on PC, Xbox and PS3. Might aswell upgrade since I'm moving on.

Yes, i've tested the Fanatec wheel on PC, with GRID (not exactly a racin sim, but hey! every FFB is better than rFactor's one xDD). IMO, it's the best commercial wheel available, if you match it with the clubsport metal pedals set, with ABS vibration... it's like you were driving a real 911. And yes, it surpases the G27 in very much aspects.
