In Win 7, when I move a window near the edge of the screen, the window expands to full screen.  How do I turn off this feature?

Hi

When you move a window near the edge of the screen, the action that initiates the Aero Snap feature is when the mouse pointer contacts the edge of the screen. You can disable this feature.

Open Control Panel / Ease of Access Center / Make the Mouse easier to use.

Place a check mark in the Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen option.

Apply/OK.

    Unfortunately, the more I use Windows 10 and the more my customers use Windows 10, the more irritated I become.  They have removed several features, some very basic like indexing an external drive.  I don't know why and I wish I would have NOT moved to Windows 10.  So sad.  I drank the kool-aid.....but never again.

    Where is it in Windows10?

    "Control Panel" is now "Settings" & other info has changed, moved or been removed.

    Excel - This frustrates me no end! I've never ever required it, but I have often lost my place in a very large & detailed table with this "feature" & taken ages to find where I was again. Utterly useless.

    Unfortunately, this function has been REMOVED in Windows10!

    Settings > Ease of Access > Mouse - No option to disable Windows default resizing.

    Strange. We needed fullscreen when we had small low-res monitors, not now. Now we have THREE options to go fullscreen but we can't disable any of them!
