Trying to watch netflix movies and getting an error code of 6003: silverlight does not seem to be working.

I talked to a netflix technical assistant tonight and he tried to help me with this problem, but was unsuccessful.  The error code I receive from Netflix is N8156-6003.  He walked me through many different procedures to fix the problem and nothing seems to be working.  He even directed me to try tinyurl.com/netflixsl and after the individualizing it goes to opening and stays there.  My laptop is on 8 months old and is not used very often, not sure what the issue is, Netflix seems to think it is a problem with microsoft, please help.

Hello, Nea5577

After loading the page to watch a video, right click the applet, then click Silverlight.

On the Playback tab ensure that the “Enable download...” option is selected.

On the Application Storage tab, click Delete all to clear any cached files.

I tried every suggested fix here and still the error persists...  Is anyone from Microsoft or netflix working on this?  Only seems to be a problem with windows 7 on my part.

    Help..

Well, called Netflix and they have a soulution that worked for me in win7.

Close browsers and navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\PlayReady and delete the mspr.hda file in that folder.  Reopen browser and relaunch netflix and it works.  Hope this helps someone else.

I---ALSO---have tried every solution here and still have the same problem.  I agree that NETFLIX and MICROSOFT  need to figure this problem out together.  Each one keeps saying that I should call the other.

I'm running a Lenovo Thinkpad X200s with Windows 7, with 64-bit.  The problem persists on EVERY browser that I've tried.

WHAT'S UP MICROSOFT/NETFLIX?????  I'm sure there are hundreds of users that are frustrated with this.

I've tried everything. deleted the mspr.hda file. uninstall silverlight, reinstalled silverlight, admin, clearing history, watching as admin. It was fine until i upgrade to 4.0. anyone know where i can get 3.0 so i can try that?
