How do I copy home movies on a DVD to my computer?

Home made (non-copy protected) DVDs are easy...

just insert the DVD in your DVD drive...go to...Start /

Computer...right click the icon for the DVD Drive and

choose Explore...you should see the directory of the DVD.

Now...copy/paste or drag/drop...the 'VIDEO_TS' folder

from the DVD to a new folder (renamed to the name of

the corresponding DVD) on your hard drive and that's it.

If you had VLC Media Player on your system (for example)

you could right click the VIDEO_TS folder and choose...

"Play With VLC Media Player" and the video will play.

These files can be several Gigabytes so copying can take

some time...have patience.

    RIC:  Thanks for the response.  However, no matter what screen I try to pull up on this matter (I am signed in), does it show anything anywhere on the screen about stopping emails. I want to but there is nothing on my screen that allows this or I would have done it long ago.

    Hi - If you're not seeing it in the top snip you should be able to stop them from your profile page (second snip - just click your blue username)

    Should be straightforward - just go to the question (which is now at the top of every page) and click 'stop emails'  that should do the trick! - Regards, Ric.
