hi please can someone help as i can't figure out how to switch on the inbuilt webcam on my sony viao i'm on windows 7 !!!!!

Hi Sarah,

Steps to turn on integrated WebCam on Sony Vaio Laptop

a.    Click on Start and then click on All programs.

b.    Go all the way to the bottom until you see “Arcsoft Webcam companion”

c.    Click on it and then click on Webcam companion 3 to turn your webcam.

That’s it.

    I am having problems with my in-built camera. Skype and system cant detect it now. Uninstalled it and restarted it but it wont find it. Any help with that? Where can I find the drivers now?

    O.S is windows 8.1 and model number SVE1512C6EW

    hi ive done all this but in webcam companion its say webcam not found, is either being used by another programme (which it isnt) ive unin and re installed it, or the application is not connected???

    i have installed  windows 7 ultimate new os on my sony vaio laptop 

    and after i had installed my new os i cant detect the web cam companion on my laptop

    so pls guide me hw can i detect my web cam companion
