click start button and type "msconfig" and hit enter. When open goto startup tab and un-tick the program with name of "windows live" or "iexplore.exe" and hit apply and close. Hope it will help!

I also have this problem, but when I look at startup under msconfig there are no entries for iexplorer or Windows Live in the list.  The only MS service is Onelive which is ticked.
