Window 7 will can not Backup or let me do a system image backup.

I have just upgraded to Windows 7, but when I try to do a complete backup or system backup, it fails.

I started to do a full backup to dvd, it took hours and stopped  at 84%,  I also tried to backup with system image, but this faild,  I tried to backup to an external drive 80GB drive and window said this wasn’t big enough.

Why cant I  backup Windows 7.

    I upgraded 5 weeks ago from Vista to Windows 7. I have never been able to do a backup with Windows 7. I get error code 0x8078012D when backup is about 80% compete. Cannot find any help that works or real information on the error code. I have run Chkdsk on both my C drive and external drive and found no problems. The only suggestion I have gotten is to use a 3rd party vendors backup software. As many people that seem to be having this same problem, I would think Microsoft would put somthing out about it ?????

    same thing is happening to me too. I finally clicked stop backup and it gave me error number 0x80070015. This was when I tried backup to a disc. Mine got stuck at 82%

    Love to do it for it appears to end what I see is looping because the system is caught up with failed back ups.  I too would like the link sent to me.   *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
