How to completely remove Copilot from Edge?

I've already disabled Copilot in the sidebar. I've toggled off "Chat response on result page" in the search settings. I want the Copilot AI disabled from the search result page, preventing automatic chatboxes on searches, and not activating when scrolling to the top of the results page.

I've done this, as directed by Copilot itself. The toggle to "show copilot" was turned off and every time I log on, Edge pops up displaying an unhelpful copilot page and obscuring the work I actually want to accomplish.

And now I have to waste time searching for a solution.

I followed, says disabled but is still there, I restarted Edge, still there, restarted PC still there, seems more like spyware than any kind of useful tool to me, is really annoying, will just remove Edge instead is far easier. and considering switching OS to either google or dare I even say it Apple. This AI being forced on us everywhere needs to stop. AI X taking over.

Yes I've found that I'm using Firefox more and more because of annoyance of co-pilot. I mentioned before that what we need is an injector button for the co-pilot!

I have Chrome as my default browser. I removed Bing from that.

I have also set Chrome as the search engine in edge and removed Bing from edge.

Really not enjoying M$ experience these days - and my IT service length pre-dates Billy Boy's products...
