Why am I not getting rewards points for searches?

I was searching for my daily rewards points on my phone and computer. For my computer I was rewarded for 9 searches, and it stopped granting points after that and on mobile only 2 searches granted points to my account. I tried multiple browsers and devices and searched a variety of searches. I would like to know if this is a bug or if I need to fix something on my end.

They changed everything lately. No more bonus as everyone has mentioned. Now, I just read on MSN that they are requiring a 3-search/15minutes capacity... they are calling it a "cooldown". So, you can only get 15 points per 15 mintues.... so much for Bing... I'll go back to Google Search for all my research... Bing isn't worth it anymore. It'll take forever to get any rewards so it's not worth it for a sub-par search engine. As of October, you could possibly max everything out in searches and activities and MAYBE get a $10 gift card in a month's time... now it'll take about twice that time... and you have to work on it throughout the day instead of an intense hour or two. I don't sit on a computer all day... only for a couple hours with work while I do product research... I'll search hundreds of websites in a couple hours... so all I could get from Microsoft Rewards is maybe 100 points... the rest of the 50 allowed per day in searches is unachievable as I'm not on all day.... so, forget it Bing, sorry, you lost a customer with this.

    This is easy. Microsoft actually put out an article on the subject. They have slowed search points , but as with others on this thread, mine have stopped. Also, this notice came out a few days ago. "Microsoft Rewards now features a cooldown period, which will see users get points for only 3 searches per 15 minutes. Microsoft Rewards recently halted daily point earnings for using Microsoft Edge, barely a week after killing the Xbox Rewards app.Dec 4, 2023" But for me, I can wait 2 hours, no search points though. Also "M$ dropped the value of certain activities (puzzles, specific clicks, etc.), are dropping Edge bonuses, and yanked the streak puzzle that is supposed to result in +1000 Rewards points. Now, there is a 'cool down' period between credited searches."

    Here is what I received from Microsoft tech:

Rest assured that we are doing our best to diligently work on your case.It is my understanding that you are missing points for doing searches. I know this is important for you earn points, I am here to assist you.<br>We would like to inform you that the experience you had about not earning points from your searches is by design.<br><br><br><br> Changes were recently made within the crediting system. No worries though, you'll start earning points after doing a couple of initial searches. Rest assured, the points that you will earn for the day will not be affected, you will still have the capability to earn until you reach your maximum daily earning limit...."

    The searches have been nerfed completely and the sweepstakes win ratio have been drastically reduced. They've opened up other countries to the mix as opposed to keeping each region separate.

    Imagine having in on a chance to win the $4,500 Amazon voucher, where there is only one winner. Before you'd compete against one nation and it's population however million to one ratio that is. Now you need to compete against many different nations further reducing your chances to win. At this point just buy a lottery ticket.

    What's the point of you selling your soul to this company where they see all of your data for points that you don't even get anymore.

    3 days in a row Mobile searches aren't working. I'm out 300 points now. I'm frustrated and pissed.

    My girlfriend signs into the same device and she gets all of her searches per the new 15 minute cooldown.

    I don't know why my searches won't go through yet hers does. I've tried trouble shooting and clearing the cache to no avail. Microsoft needs to fix this on their end.
