Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Since before the latest update to Windows 11, I have been having issues with Bing in Edge.
When I open Edge (Bing is my default Search Engine) I will get "Hmmm... can't reach this page" for Bing.com. Or, if I open a new tab and click the homepage button I will get the same results. Hitting "Refresh" doesn't always fix the issue. It doesn't happen every time, but it is consistent. However, I can open a different website (say Yahoo.com) and it opens immediately.
Microsoft Edge
I also have issues with Bing being excessively slow when doing searches, or it will time out.
Your assistance with addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I am unable to uninstall/repair Microsoft Edge. Windows 11 won't let me.

I am having the same problem (several months after these others) and you provided lots of good suggestions here. But... you say trial and error and don't get discouraged. I'm not looking for a homework project. I'll just go elsewhere and forget about Bing.
Thank you! I only experience the problem at one particular site, so I'll see if turning off my AdGuard VPN works.
I shutoff vpn and it now works. Odd
norton 360 vpn was not a problem last month.
how come my issues with Microsoft edge and BING only started with the latest auto download from Microsoft is their a problem with it or has a mistake been made with the latest down load that's sent through , had this problem for over a week and according to my diagnostic everything is fine no problem except Bing has locked me out with every attempt to access it.
Why do you make it so hard to contact you when theirs a problem , and why so many hoops to jump through to get to the right place for answers
