Status Access Violation issues

I'm assuming so. My guess is a silicon defect that's wide spread enough they want to avoid addressing it.

I assume the denial of finding the 'root cause' is acknowledgment by Intel that there is a deeper issue with these chips...

Unfortunately, this will only work for newer devices. None of the devices I'm having issues with are within warranty and some include laptops with CPUs soldered to the motherboard. The solution for these types of devices will need to be software related in order to avoid purchasing new devices.

Oh dang. That's frustrating to hear.

See my other post. Perhaps there's some other motherboard/BIOS settings that are being pushed too hard?

I also found news from Intel about instability issues with unlocked K-series chips due to motherboard makers pushing the envelope: https://www.extremetech.com/computing/intel-releases-final-statement-on-cpu-instability-makes-things-worse

I do have a K-series chip (13900K) so it's possible it may be this. Not sure what others have, or if there are other instability things going on.
