Full page McDonalds ads keep popping up when I open a page from the main Edge screen. how can I get this to stop. I've tried everything that has been suggested online. Still no dice.

I have Chrome and the same thing is happening here. It is simply a "file o'fish" ad instead of the one in the prior picture. It is infuriating.

I switched browsers and stopped going to McDonald. I'm not sure what advertising company thought this is a good strategy to make everyone angry with McDonald and MS Edge. There are many alternatives out there.

Can you provide me with a picture so that I can identify the problem and help you better?

Try to re-register the edge browser

Press “Windows Logo Key + X”, launch “Windows PowerShell (Administrator)” and enter the following two commands:

cmd /c “reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Appx\AppxAllUserStore /v ManifestCacheOptions /t REG_DWORD /d 1 ”

add-appxpackage -register -disabledevelopmentmode c:\Windows\systemapps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppxManifest.xml

Wonder what is causing some Users to have or see this behaviour... Wonder how many are experiencing this...
