Troubleshooting browser crashes or performance issues on Windows 11

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Edge keeps crashing in Windows 11. I have already tried quite a few troubleshooting steps suggested here and it's still not fixed. The last suggestion I received before reinstalling Windows is to reinstall Edge. (Not repair/reinstall from the Add/Remove Programs menu, I've already tried that). I did this but it doesn't look like it worked. When I opened Edge after the reinstall all my tabs re-opened and I just don't think the reinstall worked correctly. Is there a way to uninstall Edge completely and then reinstall it? The option is grayed out in the Remove programs menu.

Did you follow Hahn's instructions before opening the Edge browser? I experienced that this only worked after Windows user log-in so that no Edge browser is active. The other option is to use Task Manager to "End" all "Microsoft Edge" processes before following the instuctions to remove.
I followed these steps (several times) but it has failed to uninstall.
Hello Hahn,
I have the same question BUT on Windows 10. Would you be so kind to confirm if there are any changes to the procedure?
Thanks
