E Tree points and ranking not syncing up between mobile and desktop.

Hi guys, Ive been participating in the Microsoft weather E Tree program for quite a while now and i've just noticed that my points and rank arent synced up between my mobile weather app and my desktop edge browser webpage. Ive just broken into the top 50 and yet my name doesnt appear in the top 50 list. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt710,

As per Anonkj's reply, the thread that talks about hacking and some more information on the web, following possibilities:

  1. Microsoft has stopped the program but not yet removed it - may come back with revamped version
  2. The hacking that happened in ranking caused Microsoft to freeze the last correct rank list. - So your present rank of 13 is against the frozen rank list and not the real updated scenario. My rank is 12 as of today. Once Microsoft allows the current actual rank list to be visible and updated again - we'll get our real rank and that may be much below 50 (I feel).
  3. There is some bug in the program and Microsoft is yet to correct it.

Hope they at least plant the trees that we all have virtually grown.

    Yes. The rankings finally updated. I can see my name in the list for the first time.
    Are these lists same internationally.? Do you see the same list?

    @matt710 - Yes The Guy with 22trees at No. 22 is still there. I can see you at No. 49 😊 Congratulations. You started this thread with query that your name is not in the list. It's there finally. 👏
    @Anonkj - I was not able to use E-Tree in MSN Weather app ever. I collect energies from edge browser page and E-Tree icon in sidebar.
    Even Sidebar Icon disappeared for two days but back now.

    Hope it all irons out.

    They have finally updated the rankings table a couple of days ago. But unfortunately the bugs continue. Unfortunately in the msn weather app my streak keeps getting reset and I go back to day 1.

    It seems that the program has ended but Microsoft is not removing it completely as they may bring in a revamped version later. The ranking list is definitely not getting updated anymore and bugs are visible -

    As Anonkjpointed out - No Go button at times

    I found today - select a place with temp above 10 but clicking on such place doesn't complete the task even after trying multiple times.
