Microsoft Edge on Mac crashes

I recently heard about the Microsoft Edge available on Mac and decided to try it out, so I downloaded on the website and follow the instructions. But once it's installed, the app pops like like any other Mac apps, but it instantly crashed and closed by itself, even with several times of reinstalling. Is there anything I could do to fix this? Like something needed to change in the settings?

    same. Seem safari 14 broke edge. All extensions crashed on launch. Cannot open any Edge setting pages

    Same here. I removed Microsoft Edge and I am sure that Apple and Microsoft will fix this issue. There is very little we users can do, as always.

    I also encountered the same issue when it crashed after I booted up my Mac. What worked for me was to uninstall it then download Edge using Safari. Zero issues so far. What's strange is that I tried to do the same but with Google Chrome, however, it crashed right as I opened it on a fresh install.
