Password import edge not working

1/12/23 After EDGE update today Password .csv import/export is working.

Hey Guys. I had the same problem and I used the following workaround.

Download Edge on your Iphone or Android (In my case it worked on my Iphone) and log in to your account.

Have Chrome installed also and your account logged in as well.

Have Sync enabled (in Edge).

In Edge for iOS you still have the option to import from csv so you can export the file directly from the chrome app to the edge app.

Let it Sync and you will get your passwords to your Edge account.

Hope it works for you as well.

Can confirm this is still an ongoing issue with Edge using version 106.0.1370.47 (latest stable channel release). The "Import passwords" option does not produce any result when clicked. This has been checked on multiple installations and running on local machine desktops as well as Remote Desktop Session Host server environments.

This feature working would make life better for us, as we're in the middle of moving a client's users from a set of old Remote Desktop Session Host servers to a new collection running a more modern Windows Server operating system. Currently we are having to provide the exported password list CSV to our users to re-enter the passwords manually, which is not ideal as the users have control over the CSV file and may not delete it as we've advised (Not great, security-wise, as the passwords are presented in plain text within the CSV file).

Can any representative from Microsoft provide any indication as to when this feature will be working? It seems quite odd for an option to be visible in a stable release of a product, only to find said feature does nothing.
