Password import edge not working

I have an other workaround, that works surprisingly well:

You export the passwords to a csv file in edge.

Then you install google chrome.

Go to chrome://flags -> enable import passwords

Import the passwords into chrome from the edge_passwords.csv (or whatever name u have given)

Then you open the new edge and go to settings -> import browser data

You want to select Import From Google Chrome - passwords only

and your passwords should be imported.

I've tried this on different devices already (we also have to move a few installations of old pcs to new pcs) and so far it worked.

I just installed canary and there's still no feature to import passwords from a CSV.

Just downloaded the latest Edge, 106.0.1370.34, and it still doesn't work. Matter of fact, it won't even bring up a pop up to even start importing passwords. Ya'all made it worse!!!!!!!!!!! I'm about ready to uninstall it, install an older version, then re-update it. This is getting ridiculous!

Sync was/is turned on in Edge and has been running for a several days. It did not sync my passwords.

I ended up importing them into Chrome, then importing from Chrome to Edge. That worked flawlessly.

Seems like a simple process. Hopefully they will get this fixed in Edge soon.

I got a new computer so exported my Edge password file from my old computer and the new computer won't let me import it. New computer has version 105.0.1343.33. I assume this is the same issue that the Edge Engineers are aware of? I use this computer for work and have multiple logins for 22 homeowner's associations I work for so I need those passwords! Any way around this to get them in there? (Besides adding one at a time!)
