Does the new Edge browser work with Kiosk mode?

I set up loaner devices to just use the browser.  I recently updated them to Windows10-2004 and installed the new Edge browser. I just get a blank blue screen when I try to sign in with kiosk mode after setting it up to open with Edge (the Icon that I am able to select still looks like the old one).  Does anyone know if I need to go back to the old OS or the old Edge?

    Has there been any update on when the Chromium Edge browser will be supported for kiosk mode in general releases of Windows?  This would be a good fit for some clients and I would prefer not to load insider/beta versions of Windows and Dev/Beta versions of Edge to get the Assigned Access function working.  I will not be in a position to go to client locations if it suddenly stops working.

    You don't need to uninstall the Stable channel, but a few of the things in your post sound like they could use a little extra troubleshooting from our Insider team. Please visit our Insider Support page and open a ticket (Support for Individuals) to work with our Insider Support team for a closer look. Feel free to link them to this thread so they know what steps we've already gone through, and I'd love an update after you've worked with them to get this figured out.

    I started over and created a new shortcut and now it opens as a blue page no content.... then I click ctrl alt delete and it switches to a browser. My task manager shows Edge (3) but only one is open.

    Anyway then I have to click F11 to get it to play full screen. 

    Here are the steps I followed.

    1. Typed run in cortana box
    2. typed shell:startup
    3. Right clicked on empty space in startup folder
    4. Clicked new, then shortcut
    5. Typed this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge Beta\Application\msedge.exe" --kiosk http://rREMAINDER OF URL/ --edge-kiosk-type=fullscreen

    Please help. Sorry I just don't know why it isn't working.

    Hi Alex

    So beta edge is not working for me. For some reason i am back to the blue screen. It goes through the motions of loading the page and then nothing but blue displays. Also i noticed something else odd. When i create a shortcut to the startup command and then check for it in Task Manager under the startup tab it is not listed. What am i doing wrong? :(
