HTML5 can generally be used as an alternative to Adobe Flash. Both include features for playing audio and video within web pages, It can also be used to play some basic HTML5 browser games and integrated vector graphics are possible with both.

    Hi Berthalina,

    No, all of the major browsers like FireFox and Google Chrome as well as Microsoft Edge and others are using a new standard.

    Here's what sounds like a credible answer from the Adobe Support Community:

    "Nothing for you to do.  Flash Player is ending, that's all.  This has been in the works for a long time.  Most Flash content has been removed and replaced with new content that doesn't require Flash Player.   So when Flash Player is deactivated soon, chances are you'll never miss it."

    If the above is true, maybe, there was a glitch in that process for those of you that play games or do the things that you could before.

    Boy, I sure hope that they can fix that. There's going to be a lot of angry people otherwise.

    What about those of us who still prefer to use firefox or google chrome browsers.  Is this a way microsoft is forcing the use of their browser?
