SSL - Error - How to go "around" it

Hi There

I have the following problem, while accessing a website from a partner

Error Message:

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Unsupported protocol

The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

Google Chrome lets me open the page, but tells me: "Your connection to this site is not fully secure". 

I know, that the website uses an "outdated" security configuration. But this partner may not so fastly change that. Is there a possibility to tell Edge kind a list of websites, where he can ignore that? To disable this feature completely is not a solution in my opinion. (to manage a "whitelist also not, but it is the smaller pain)

Other suggestion? (other Browser is also no opinion and with Internet Explorer 11 it does not work :-( )

    I had this same issue trying to connect to RDP using Sonicwall SSLVPN. This is how I fixed it. Also, there is a difference between Windows10 and Windows11 because Win10 still has IE built into it whereas Win11 does not. The following is for Windows11 and should also be applicable to Win10

    1 Enable IE Compatibility

    -Open Edge, go to Settings, Default Browser

    -IE open Sites in Edge = Never, Allow Sites in IEMode = Allow

    -I also added the "full" address with port # I was connecting to in IE Mode pages (https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx)

    1. Security Settings

    -Open Control Panel, Internet Properties, Security Tab, Trusted Sites

    -add the "full" address with & also without port # as above (https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx)

    ***not adding the full address with port # will connect but will give "invalid connection file" when loading RDP session

    -I also added the site in the "Privacy" tab "Sites" button

    -"Advanced" tab - Checked all TLS version boxes and Unchecked "Warn about Certificate Address Mismatch"

    After that everything worked. Hope this helps

    Option not there ...

    You have to enable the option first: click ⋯ (Settings and more) > Settings > Default Browser and turn Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode On.

    Open Google Chrome

    go to "chrome://apps/"

    click "web store"

    search "ie tab"

    install follow directions.

    It takes a bit more than just enabling IE mode.

    You need to add the site to the intranet or trusted sites in the Internet Options/security page. I added both http and https versions the device I needed to manage.

    On the advanced tab, enable the older SSL protocols. Also disable "Enable Integrated Windows Authentication" if you are not using it and you don't get a popup prompting for a password.
