Anyone using (new) Edge C (GA) & or testing the Edge Insider beta Channels, comments (bad AND good), tips, info to share, observations, suggestions/requests, issues/problems, curiosities, questions, you name it... The floor is yours...

Myself, I have run all available Insider Builds since April.  And, now, running Edge C GA, as well; swapped from HTML Jan. 15th.

I am/have been very impressed with the performance.  Been a bit fun adapting to some things/methods/locations/layouts/structure.  Some NTML features seem missing, BUT, heaps more stuff is coming very soon.  Some 'new' & different items are quite cool.  It has been interesting as an Insider.  And it will be interesting for people using & discovering THIS Edge.  It is, well, IMHO, will be THE outstanding browser.  I, strongly urge & encourage Folks to adopt it. Be prepared, though... it's very fast

Let's see what more detail & specifics y'all may have, will have to add here...

Anxious for your remarks, look forward to the input that can be share to everyone's benefit, of course.

The floor is yours...

Cheers,

Drew

Ok, fair enough so,  I stand corrected.  If Reading List is there, that's cool; There are some differences between Mobile & 'desktop' versions; notice the difference in version #s.  The Edge C beta Channels "Import" a person's Reading List... will show as a folder called Reading List Saves under Favorites... GA, will have it, soon.  But, although, I didn't think so, if it's in Edge C Mobile, now, that's great.

Having it Dark is, certainly, always, nice!  Seems most people, same as us, prefer it.

Yes, well, mine is a Windows Mobile 📱 ergo, I'm a bit sorry, but, life goes on (w/ Edge HTML, there)...

    Cheers,

    Drew

You mention Reading List showing & Mobile devices.  That is due to, still, being Edge HTML, there.  If you put Edge C on the Samsung, it will not have Reading List. [,,,] Although, Edge C runs on iOS & Android, there are no plans for it to be supported on Windows phones.

I beg to differ. It is the new Edge that has been downloaded to my Samsung, at least the logo tells me so. Here's the app version: Edge 44.11.2.4122 (Updated 16 Jan 2020). Android OS 9. Samsung SM-T385 Build/PPR1.180610.011. And I have it in Dark mode too! 💛

Re the no plans for Windows phone, I won't mind! LOL.

    Hi again Drew,

    Re the TIPS page: https://microsoftedgetips.microsoft.com/en-us/all/

I clicked onto the Sync tip, which brought up this popup slideshow arrangement (I don't know it's real name). I double-clicked onto both images, but nothing happens. It seemed there was more information.

The flags are ok.  But, it's the same as beta stuff... at ones own risk, like a waiver because, beta stuff & flags are not 'officially' supported.

    Cheers,

    Drew
