"Add note" on new edge browser

is there any schedule on returning "add note" function to the new Edge browser? This function was the core and unique feature of the original Edge, absent from all other competitors. It worked perfectly on my Surface Pro 4. The lack of it in the new Edge makes it ordinary and indifferent, just like Nokia/Blackberry switching to Android system.

Please make this function return again very soon. otherwise, the market share of Edge will deplete even further.

    Starting to doubt we will ever get this...

    Hopefully with the recent re-re-designing of some edge features (I'm liking the new history thing :) this will come soon.

    ****! It's 2021 January already and you guys have not brought back the old ADD NOTE feature.

    please bring this feature 

    please, all laptops don't have a goddamn touch screen to write notes with a stylus 

    with that add note feature, I could easily paste a link in it to a particular website that explains the word very clearly.

    It helped a lot to easily understand the hard words written in my textbook.

    PLEASE BRING THIS FEATURE.

    Like everyone else, I am amazed and very disappointed that this feature should have disappeared from Edge.....

    However, I have found there is a similar extension feature that can be added to Chrome called "Web Paint".  I don't know if this will be any help to anyone..

    Hi everyone. A piece of good news: the new Edge is : 

    • able to run all your old EI11 sites in Edge (just move your legacy EI11 favorites in Edge)
    • actually built on the same Chromium open source core as Chrome, so you can add to Edge any of the Chrome extension catalog (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions)
    • then able to run the Web Paint extension above and have the scribbling tool we all missed
    • able to display and search directly in your intranet and own work document (by default when opening a new page)

    => you only need now only one Browser and use Edge for all of your needs :-)

    Adding notes to PDFs in the Edge browser is an incredibly useful tool. Please return this function ASAP.
