Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 10

I cannot understand why Microsoft have limited the number of Quick Links able to be displayed on the home page to eight. I have been using Firefox for several years and found that with up to 16 available, I can cover the the sites I uses regularly (although I don't use all 16).
To not even, say, allow an option to increase the number seems to be unnecessarily controlling/limiting.
I have submitted this as formal feedback, I hope more people do so.

Are you sure "Top Sites" is the same as "Quick Links"?
Yeah, I hope so too.
You can also post this in the techcommuntiy microsoft in edge insiders as well.
It is in testing , so that is good.
I am not afflicated by Microsoft. I am a big fan of Micorsoft and my knowledge, I think it will come and it will not be this month and a few months later.
Yeah, check FireDog's picture and you will see that some Dev Channels can see it :)
I don't know how it works, it usally goes form Canary, Dev, Beta, Stable
I think.
It will come out in a few months I think, I don't know. It may be quicker.
Thanks,
You sound like you know your stuff.
I'm counting on you.

Please add an option to increase the number of quick links on the edge.
If you read back a few posts, you'll see that several users have reported that adding more quick links is already being tested prior to public release, probably later this month. This is what I see now in the current Dev build:
I haven't tried adding more to see what happens with the 21st.
This is a vastly different looking screen than I have!
I like it!
All those tiles and lots of room for more.
Bring it on.
I'll test it!
