Chinese characters disappear when editing a pdf file on Microsoft Edge

Whether you use Mozilla Firefox or to edit thru Microsoft Edge (two different ways), it only shows when you use Adobe Acrobat Reader (mine is 64bit) to read the file, I've tried to read the same file thru other browsers, doesn't work at all (Microsoft Edge / Google Chrome / Opera / Firefox and etc).

So please ensure your supplier/client/colleague has Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to read your files with special characters (sad)

Remark : For solution No. 2, you have to repeat the same action for every different PDF.

As of 31 March 2023, the problem is solved (to me), I use both Mozilla Firefox way (as Jimmy Hellas suggested) and the "weird" way that Joey Wang2 suggested, both works! Try it out people :)))

To translate Joey's way,

Use Microsoft Edge to add Mandarin characters (unsure with other languages), save the pdf even though the characters may disappear, open again and voila! The characters are still there, now you can continue with your work!

It is still not working, bro. Can type in Chinese words and it is recorded in the PDF document, but just don't show up when i open the file in Edge.

Seems MS is going to use Adobe PDF engine so very likely this won't be fixed... Let's wait for the Adobe engine version...
