Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Good evening.
After this last updating of Microsoft Edge, the pen icon is missing. I like to save and write on my Web pages. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Thank you

Terrible - I used the pen all the time and it is one of the reasons I bought another Microsoft computer. Please bring this feature back to Edge.
Alright, no worries.
Part 1:
- Open edge://flags
- Search for Experimental web platform flag.
- Enable the same.
- Restart the browser.
Part 2:
- After that, press Ctrl+Shift+S to open web capture.
- Capture the part of the screen you want to ink.
Click Add notes which would allow you to Draw/add notes.

I followed the steps and there were no options to do the following "Click Add notes which would allow you to Draw/add notes."
What is the selling point of the new series coming out?
I would be carefull to take their selling points into consideration.
This page on Ms webpage dated Sept 9 2020 clearly misleads people.

Microsoft got rid of the inking feature on this browser. This was a CRITICAL component in my decision to buy a surface pro 7. They HAVE to bring this feature back. I am a school teacher and I was going to use the inking abilities to help teach virtually!! I am so let down by this decision. Please bring it back.
I had the pen funcion all the way until I today imported the Chrome bookmarks over to Edge. That was a mistake I understand. Just put my surface 7 out for sales and will stick to my Mac instead.
Removing the only really usefull feature and the reason I bought the Surface in the first place must be just about the dumbest move ever by MS.
