new Edge chromium pen & ink settings

Recently upgraded to the new chromium version of Edge.

The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version.

Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it.

What happened to the choices?

Are there settings to change them?

Do I have to do a screen shot first?

Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

    the choices are not available in edge chromium.

    there are no settings that will enable the feature.

    you could take a screenshot and use snip & sketch to annotate it.

    Yes you could use snip & sketch BUT you cant do multipage so please make the pen&inc tool come back as fast as possible

    Exactly, these half a** solutions people keep suggesting are just that.. half a**! Why did they get rid of the old browser? I used Edge because it was different than Chome and had features that no other browser had. Specifically, inking! I have a Surface Pro 7. I WANT TO USE MY PEN. That's how the Surface is designed... DUH!

    If I wanted Chrome, I'd use Chrome. Now we have a half-a** Chome clone. Thanks for nothing Microsoft.

    This is so absurd and annoying! I am beyond irritated! I solely relied on this to do my homework without actually writing on my books. I am trying various apps to get them to do the same task but i simply can't. Why would they update without having the previous settings, it was literally the only thing keeping me from switching to an ipad. Goodbye Microsoft!

    How do I go back to the old version. Cant stand the lettering. Too hazy.

    The browser has not been incorporated to Windows Update yet; you need to manually install it from the Microsoft website. If you don't like it, you can always uninstall it, like any other software you get off the web.

    And although it doesn't have all the features of old Edge, it damn well has all the features of Chrome plus many extras. My guess is that Microsoft will replace the old Edge through Windows Update once it does get the old features.

    WHAT Happened to the NEW Chromium EDGE?  It is February 2 and on three totally up to date machines it NEVER showed up?     WHY?
