How do I highlight PDFs in the new Microsoft Edge

This update sucks!!! I follow the instructions and can't get highlight option back, I tried to restore the previous version but is not available and I'm running it as administrator. Just like most of the forum I was using that because the highlight option was so convenient.

Hey, I used the quick, just drag over the text highlight feature constantly for work, especially in this time when I can't go to the office and don't have a printer. Now it's gone, and replaced with a very cumbersome mechanic that is not practical to use. Just want to add my frustration here, in the misguided hope that the old highlight tool will come back if enough of us tell y'all how we feel.

I am taking an online course and I found out the PDF tools in the previous version of Edge were really good. I recently was forced to update to Microsoft Edge Chromium, tt lost all the useful features like highlighting only using my finger. Now it requires using the right click of the mouse, not as user friendly as before. Please bring the PDF friendly features back.

now way how uneasy unfriendly is the new regression of pdf highlighter in the "new"  edge chromium.  Why not adding the little highlighter again in the top bar? just listen to the people!!!  don't try to force new uncomfortable ways of doing the same things.... I use a pen and there is no way of doing "right-click"  on each selected word to just highlight!

Crazy how they fix something and it just becomes even more trash than before. It really takes months to add a feature they had on a previous version? Thanks for the forced update Microsoft
