Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

    Someone suggested this tip when I asked this question a couple of weeks ago...

    They said that before you start typing in a text box on FB, hit Shift, then Enter. It will space you down one line and you can type without it jumping. I just tried it and it WORKED!

    Someone else said the page Zoom might be an issue if it's enlarged over 85%, but since I can't read it when it's that small, I haven't tried that option
