Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

Edge is not the problem. It may have worked for you but I tried Edge, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and every single one did the same thing.

mine happens on Google Chrome and Edge - and only affects Facebook - driving me nuts! Only does it on my desktop pc

THIS worked for me. I uninstalled Chrome, rebooted and reinstalled it and went to FB and it worked perfect, I used it for awhile BUT then I added about 6 extensions and the jumping problem came back. I had to uninstal Chrome and reinstall chrome and it fixed the problem. Now I have to find which extension is causing the problem. I'm running with no extensions rt now and so far so good. I have tried many things but what I did above was the only thing that worked.

I run at 100% and lowered page size to 75 then 80% with no difference But when I went to 110% the page scrolled up (instead of down) but made my text at the very bottom of the screen and usable. I would still rather it be as it was where it wouldn't move at all but you are onto something with page size. BTW if your mouse has a scroll wheel, hold Ctrl and scroll wheel up or down to change page size percentage.
