    Hi Sibro,

    This is even more interesting.

    I upgraded the old laptop from Build 19045.3155 to Dev Build 23493.1000 and Safe Mode works just fine on this old machine. 🤣🤷‍♂️

    No error and no flashing screen either. 😎👍

    I got this one to fail Safe Mode too after checking for updates and getting this Update Stack Package.

    Now it fails exactly the same way as the 2 Desktops that I mentioned earlier. 🤣😜😜🤷‍♂️

    Same error message and flashing screen.

    Other updates that came down were the Security kb5007651 Version 1.0.2306.10002-0 and the MS Edge browser that updated to the Beta Version.

    Looks like the problem is caused by one of the experimental A/B features enabled by MS in this Build.

    Now I will have to try to isolate the culprit. 😎

    I found which feature is causing the problem but is one of those subjects that cannot be discussed in this forum. 🤐🤷‍♂️

    The screen is black and empty, no desktop icons at all. 🤷‍♂️

    I see the error on a clean install VM but after the login screen and without the flashing,

    once I hit OK the flashing starts. Icons still show up but they're useless. 🤷‍♂️

    There is another difference between your behavior and mine, we both see flashing after login but in my case none of the desktop icons show up.

    The screen is black and empty, no desktop icons at all. 🤷‍♂️
