    It could also, maybe, be related to not being able to see toolbar icons for several things in Edge.  Icons that are there, but, in Dark do not show (well enough, at all).

    BTW, for anyone missing the Widget in Edge, it is, actually, the same thing as News & Interests.  So if you have N&I, don't sweat the other

    Mine have done that for a long time.  I have just lived with it figuring it took a while because of being a not super-robust VM.  Maybe, nothing to do with that at all, having read what you say, here.  The pace is fine once it is 'ready'.  Bit like a dog turning around & around til it finally decides it's ready to lie down; you watch, wait & wonder when it will end 😉😂

    In dark mode I see dark text on File Explorer search box, turns white after I click search
