Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.160 | Windows Insider Blog

ISOs now available

Today we are releasing the ISOs for Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.132 to our Windows Insider Preview Downloads page. You can use these ISOs to do a clean installation or in-place upgrade.

As you use these ISOs to install Windows 11, you will go through the new Windows 11 setup experience (often referred to as the “out of box experience” or OOBE for short) which is designed to build excitement for Windows 11 right from the moment you turn on a new Windows 11 PC for the very first time. Based on your feedback, we have added the ability to name your PC during the setup experience too. After running through the setup experience, the Get Started app is a new first run experience app that will help you quickly get setup on a new PC. Try these things out and let us know what you think!

Create a Windows 11 USB Flash drive - Your Windows Guide

  1. Go to https://aka.ms/WIPISO
  2. Select Windows 11 Build 22000.132.
  3. Select the desired language of the Installation Media.
  4. Click 64-bit download to start the download.

    Honestly, what Serpentbane told us is true. There are many unofficial ISO files out there, but a lot of them simply turn up as malware. I'm not even going to download ISO's and test them in a virtual machine cuz there're malware that can escape the sandbox and infect the actual computer.

    One has to be really careless or dense to download and ISO from any other site than the ones I mentioned.

    I am a active user of Linux (I'm actually typing this on Ubuntu 21.04) but don't listen to this guy.
    Ubuntu (and most other distros) has things Windows doesn't.
    Windows has things Ubuntu doesn't.
    Windows and Ubuntu/Linux are different in the same way Windows and macOS are different.

    I don't use the W11 ISO that was leaked, but thousands have used it, and if MS don't release the preview ISO this will be exploited, if it's not already. Saying ppl should be cautious don't change this fact.

    I know there is some danger involved, but as Insiders we take this risk. However, the whole point of being Insiders is to report back to MS. And, when the W11 update bricks my system I imagine this is something MS would like to know about. But without the tools to investigate, me having this issue escspes MS.

    All I have now is a suspicion, I need to test more to determine if the raid drivers are in fact the issue.
