    Hi CK,

We all will try to do our best on this. Recall You enquiring about dump when you had a concern in a build report thread. That discussion went on for quite a number of posts. Believe the result was the blocking of cmd files so you could not create an image. MS quietly sneaked that block in.

Just to clarify, my mention of UUPDump was more in regards to the issue

caused in the build! UUPDump triggered it, but it could have been caused by

    any other site also.

Leave it to you to jump on the OT play. So expected, Chill. It clearly states:

All topics related to Windows Insider builds may be discussed in the Windows Insider Program forum

I didn't say they couldn't be discussed in the Insider Forum. All I said was to take it to

a separate thread. Suzy is being asked to clarify this!!

Now you have a group of OT posts to move to another thread. Reminder, I have the VM pptx as well :-)

I will not move anything, because you have intermingled them with other

    copied and edited posts.

    Case closed!!!

    Regards,

"All topics related to Windows Insider builds may be discussed in the Windows Insider Program forum"

Yes, in the Insider Forum, but I would think in a separate thread, that way you & some others can go back & forth as much as you like & leave the thread build available to those who are actually testing Windows 11 as designed by Microsoft. Just saying.

The update failed at about 25% a couple of times. I had no problem getting the ISO from you know who (UUP). I always remove any prior downloaded ISO and I delete the UUPs folder. I had good luck this week downloading the Public version since I had a need for W10 Pro.

So far, I am hating W11. I am a committed Start10 user. I can't run W10, W11 out of the box. Just seems so damn childish compared to Start10 where I am 1 Click away from the things I want and no need to be close to the things of no interest to me. Yes, I could learn. When I first fire up a W10, I am lost until I get Start10 running.

While not unexpected, looks like they may have even blocked the running of Start10. Start10 will open to be configured but will not load. Have not spent a whole lot of time on it.

I am also hating Edge. All of the Firefox icons have changed to Edge but will swing to Firefox on first use. I realize this is the first edition. Beyond these 2 things, it seems ok for a start.

    sofspra

Howdy sofspra, I had Firefox icon on the Taskbar & it is still there on Windows 11. Glad to see you are still around.
