Windows 11 kicked me out of WIP on Windows 11.

Hi all.

Today I went to Settings > ... > Windows Insider Program page.

There I was asked to restart the PC.

After I restarted, I saw that I was left out of the Windows 11 Insider Program.

Now I am asked to install Windows 10 and then rejoin the Windows Insider Program Release Preview Channel.

So I understand now it is just about time to say good-bye to my Insider Colleages on Windows 11.

    It's really for the best, if Microsoft isn't giving updates anymore, void warranty, I am not going to force 11on it and I did get bluescreens since I wasn't in a supported device.

    It's a Surface Pro 5, it has everything needed though it will be end of life this year :(

    Files in folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Hyper-V are those to keep in safe.

    You can use Hyper-V export and import functions. (Export copy files to selected folder/disk, not move.)

    Hi Pauli,

    I think I'm done playing with VM for now, the whole thing is quite messy.

    Tried VMware and Hyper-V, not a fan of either one.

    I may go through the exercise again if I'm getting bored and have nothing else better to do, but the more I use VM on PCs the less I like it. 😒

    Worked like a charm. Appreciated. Guess never paid close enough attention as this was never an issue prior. Always something new to learn. Cheers!

    Created a new vm, copied over 3 small files from activated vm. Retained activation after clean install:

    Now can delete the old legacy vm. Only one more Dev to do. The other 6 vm's with Beta and W10 will get around to it when time available. My concern was retaining activation (Move not Copy when prompted by VMware).

    Crazy, I don't remember if after years or months that a stable version came out we can install over the old trial version, you know? I ask about losing everything...
