Howdy! Within the last few days Co-pilot has went missing from the bottom right of the screen. It used to be an icon right of the system clock. My wife has the icon on Windows 11 Build 226321 and has the co-pilot app on the bottom right. I had the same build. Steps so far to try to fix this: I am logged into my Microsoft account(Start menu shows my picture) Copilot pro is active Updated Windows Installed Insider preview Beta and dev channels no change Checked Taskbar settings nothing about the program to toggle on or off Reinstalled copilot under apps I signed up for the subscription thinking that would help it did not. Ran sfc /scannow no change I DO have the copilot program on the PC but this one acts different in terms of how to access it. I liked the program preview version in the corner because it just popped up when I needed to use it. Now it's a separate window I have to snap to the right side, but the behavior is still very different. I don't like this. I don't know how to get it back to what my wife has. The program also appears as normal in Office 365 apps. Any suggestions on how I can get the copilot icon to how it was at the bottom right of my screen next to the system clock?

then tell me how to place it next to date and calendar as it was during the beta process, I am not holding my breath on it. This is about if AI was going to be part of windows essentials or not. With the current decision of shortcut placement, someone clueless from top decided to replace the copilot like it was solitaire. At least give us the option where to place it. Without the option this project manager is no different then a dictator. It is about the philosophy, different points of view where to place Artificial Intelligence in daily life. There is always a shallow person almost in every project that makes fun of the subject like yourself. So the dictated decision stays as is; status quo people after their decision was made. Someone from Microsoft will read these comments. Consumers should be able to sue the company for false marketing for a change like this.

well that was a massive mistake. i was using it all the time and it made the most sense to be there. why the heck would you move that? you guys made a huge mistake. now i am back to using chat gpt app

This machine at Build 22631.4169 still has the preview version of Copilot. MS is not very consistent. 😂🤷♂️ Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 Installed on ‎3/‎10/‎2024 OS build 22631.4169 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1034.0 It finally got removed with Build 22631.4249. 😂

With my eyes, I cannot use Dark mode, too difficult for me to read white on black. 😎😵💫😂

Hi SeeonX,

MS has decided to run as a separate app, so all Copilot's will end up in the Taskbar without the ability to move it next to the clock.

Put your idea forward to the Feedback Hub, if enough people want it there and vote for it maybe MS we give us the option to move it where the user wants it.

Copilot is out of pre View.
