Howdy! Within the last few days Co-pilot has went missing from the bottom right of the screen. It used to be an icon right of the system clock. My wife has the icon on Windows 11 Build 226321 and has the co-pilot app on the bottom right. I had the same build. Steps so far to try to fix this: I am logged into my Microsoft account(Start menu shows my picture) Copilot pro is active Updated Windows Installed Insider preview Beta and dev channels no change Checked Taskbar settings nothing about the program to toggle on or off Reinstalled copilot under apps I signed up for the subscription thinking that would help it did not. Ran sfc /scannow no change I DO have the copilot program on the PC but this one acts different in terms of how to access it. I liked the program preview version in the corner because it just popped up when I needed to use it. Now it's a separate window I have to snap to the right side, but the behavior is still very different. I don't like this. I don't know how to get it back to what my wife has. The program also appears as normal in Office 365 apps. Any suggestions on how I can get the copilot icon to how it was at the bottom right of my screen next to the system clock?

this kind of reminds me of what they did to Cortana. I might be the only one, but I loved Cortana and used it multiple times a day since it was first released with Windows 10 1507. Then, M$ started lobotomizing Cortana. First, they took away its integration from the start menu, then they started taking away her features. at the end, not even the voice activation, which i used constantly worked. and then they killed Cortana off completely. they put CoPilot in Cortana's place. Do you want to know how much I have used or found CoPilot useful? not at all. Cortana was much more useful. If CoPilot had the digital assistant features that made Cortana so useful, i would use it constantly. Sorry.... I got off on a bit of a rant... My point is I bet it won't be too long before MS starts lobotomizing CoPilot as well. either letting paid users have full access or just removing its functions for everyone. I could care less if they remove it all together. I never got any good reply from it anyway. Just canned answers. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😝 The preview version was just a source of new bugs. 😝🤬

I never had that issue, and, from what others on the rest of this thread have said it hasn't been for them either. Was your computer just unable to run Copilot as efficiently as everyone else's? Going back to my original post, I did say they should give us the options to customize it. Those who like the more efficient style of the sidebar should be able to use it. Those who like more flexibility with the new app should be able to do that. Just because you couldn't fix a bug on your computer doesn't mean it should be ruined for everyone else 😝😝🤪😭😭😭🫣🫣🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🥱😴 Got the same problem on several different computers. Howdy!

Hi SeeonX,

MS has decided to run as a separate app, so all Copilot's will end up in the Taskbar without the ability to move it next to the clock.

Put your idea forward to the Feedback Hub, if enough people want it there and vote for it maybe MS we give us the option to move it where the user wants it.

Copilot is out of pre View.
