Guessing this might be going forward, trying to get clarification,

because mine were moved and enlarged again.

Did you get a clarification at all on this subject?

I think the blog comment is not giving enough details about the fix which actually appears to be in 25309.

From some tests that I tried, the problem showed up with 25300 and it is fixed by 25309, but you need to have 25309 already installed for the fix to be effective.

If I upgrade to 25309 skipping 25300 I bypass the problem all together. 🤣😎

Also, the official 25300 ISO has the problem, which is not in the 25309.

When you download from the SetupDiag site use the save button, using the save as didn't work here

In the download folder it should only be one file call Setupdiag.exe, double clicking on that should open an option file saying yes or no to open the CMD automatically which will look like this

then the results should be this

for me was just a matter of unplugging external HD during installation.

What error were you getting?

Yes I get the BSOD at 98% and it persists after about 6 attempts. Reports what failed fltmgr.sys and system_service_exception. Hope someone has an idea what it could be. Just no lick at all with complete installation. After boot it does a recovery back to previous install.

I had that GSOD happening on one machine, I solved my case by using a third-party ISO for 25309 and doing the upgrade offline.

Once it completed, I checked online with W.U. for other required updates like .NET and Update Stack Package.

Up and running now without issues. 😉
