Not if you read his comments and how he reproduced it.
It is really not unusual that bugs only show up for some users, as I said there are many variables that can cause the differences.
Nothing new there.

We just need a proper permanent fix that works regardless of the settings.
and it will be useful or interesting to find out why some of us don't have the bug regardless of settings. 😁

Well, Eddie could reproduce it even if originally he did not have the problem, my guess is that the same sequence of events on the update process can produce the bugs on any machine.
I can reproduce it on 3 different ones, so it is pretty consistent for me.
