no fixes.

Mine is fine, but maybe due to the fact I have it pinned to the Taskbar.

Opens from Right click Start fine also.

    Hi C.K.

About the bug of Task Manager and UAC delay that you did not get, could you verify if this setting in Accounts -> Sign-in options is off in your box ?

    Thanks.

    Thanks,

    Another inconsistent behavior ! 😎,

I have 3 boxes at build 22478 and all 3 fail the same way when that setting is on.

We are investigating both these reported issues. Interestingly enough I have this setting on and have not been able to repro either one.

Can someone provide detailed steps on how you are reproing?

    -Eddie

    Hi Eddie,

No special steps, the problem just started after updating to 22478, just starting command prompt as administrator or right click on start and click on task manager and got the 2 bugs.

In my case the 2 bugs seem to be related and happen consistently if that setting is on.

The other way to eliminate the problem temporarily was by signing out and back in, but the problem starts again the same way after a restart.

In the FBH reports I submitted I also had the recording on to show how it happens.

Ok, so I was finally able to repro on my device.

    1. Update to new build.
    2. Log in.
    3. Launch Task Manager - confirmed Users tab is blank.
    4. Right-click on Start > Windows Terminal (Admin) - confirmed approximately 23 second delay for UAC.

When you changed that setting, did you log out and back in again, or did it clear immediately after changing the setting?

    -Eddie

    Hi Eddie,

    Glad you could reproduce.

I change that setting off or on and reboot.

Thanks, but I have been using Enhanced Mode since 'forever'. And I know or see where I need to go, BUT cannot figure out how to get there when the vm is, already, created & in use. That window with the size choice & "Options' button doesn't show anymore, except when 1st building the vm.

If an already existing vm, that window doesn't appear when starting the vm. And I didn't do what was needed when the vm was 1st created. I think it's too late now. Isn't it?

All I did there was tell it to use the same settings (for the size) every time henceforth. I missed the MORE button at that time.

But I will look into it & try, again.

    Cheers,
