The .1012 update is just a test of the servicing pipeline,

no fixes.

    Hi Sibro,

I tried an upgrade in place with ISO on one of the failing machines, but that did not fix the 2 problems with Task Manager and commands running as administrators.

At this point I don't know what the difference is between the ones that fail and the one that doesn't.

I'll just file a FBH report with recording and wait for the next build.

    Hi fg,

I restored my backup image of 22471 and updated to 478 using WU and I still cannot see the bugs

All the updates came at once but it was a 2 part update

this time the Store only updated 5 apps compared to yesterday's 25

👌, thanks for that. I checked and it is fine & normal on this one; as you know mine is a vm.

I tried looking through the thread, but please tell me what are the 2 Task Mgr problems I saw mentioned. Thanks.

    Cheers,

If you look in some of the previous posts, there are snap shots showing the Task Manager screen completely empty. When that problem occurs there is also a long delay when trying to start any command as administrator, it takes almost 30 second before it shows the UAC message.

Both problems can be temporarily fixed by signing off and back on, but they show up again after a restart.

    Some machines fail some don't.

In my case I have the failure on 2 out of 3 machines at Build 22478. Several users have reported the same bugs.
