Again is your assessment referring to both the retail and the IB machines? Seems a wee bit far-fetched for that to be the case.

And since I couldn't even try this or test it yesterday in the IB, there is no reason suggest a bug.

As to why the retail did it once & then never again, that remains a mystery. But certainly, seems to be no bug there, either.

Also, seems the (only) one experiencing the "weird" issue, mysterious behaviour or possible bug is you, not myself.

Nothing far-fetched, I have many different machines with insider and non-insider builds and they all behave the same way. 😵‍💫🤷‍♂️

I trust what I see on 5 real machines more than your one machine setup results. 😉🤷‍♂️

Sure, looks like a bug given that it works fine when using English (Europe).

With English (United States) they don't check if Short and Long time match the 12 or 24 hours setting. If they don't match, then we have the problem. 😎

Works fine even with Italian, because the Short and Long time formats are automatically set to match 24 Hours format.😉

That is just a confirmation that you had another bug. 🤣

My edit said, Idk, except that I, myself, changed nothing. And is your curiosity in regard to both the IB and the retail? Changed nothing in either one.

Must admit, I cannot come up with an answer or explanation for that question 🤷‍♂️.

But dig this... (not to add to the mysteries or anything)

Just went to the IB. Control Panel opened! I set it to 24H & d/m/y.

Told it to Show seconds, which it did AND did not switch to AM/PM.
Told it to Abbreviate and it did not switch to AM/PM.
Told it to do both and it did not switch to AM/PM.

So, it is not doing it in either IB or retail.

Clearly something changed on your machine. Too bad you cannot figure out what. 😵‍💫🤷‍♂️
