If you read my other post, about the other machines, there is no need to try to reinstall, because the remove command is not actually removing it, it just eliminates the extra copy that it is trying to download and install.

The error 0x80073CFB also means that is trying to install an App that is already installed.

After I issued the remove command I checked, and the App was still showing as installed.

So, I just clicked on the 3 dots of the failing download and cancelled the download.

After that everything was fine, after a reboot I checked the store again and there was no more error.

I used your remove command after cancelling the download, rebooted and it fixed the error. In my case, it did remove the xbox identify provider. It is not listed under Store apps at all.

It was never listed on the first place; you only see it by using the P.S. command.

Try the command again at it should still be there. 😎

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider -allusers | Select Name, PackageFullName

Well I tried your fix and I got this

It attempted to install and said oops and that repeated etc.

However nothing daunted ... etc, rebooted and updated Store and it had disappeared. Boom-boom!
