Get your Windows Insider Affiliation on Microsoft Community

We are introducing a new Windows Insider affiliation badge for Windows Insiderswho are also active in the community. To receive the badge, the Microsoft account used to sign up for Windows Insider Program must be the same Microsoft account used on Microsoft Community. This affiliation badge will be awarded on a monthly basis and will remain with the profile as long as the user remains a member of the Windows Insider Program. Windows Insiders must sign in to Microsoft Community after September 1 for the badge to appear on their community profile.

    Well, my badge has appeared and I've not installed 10576 yet, so that leads me to credit the engineers. Thanks!

    Hi Suzy

    The th2_release of build 10576 Professional reached me today and I achieved my Insider Affiliation badge in the Microsoft Community when the update finished.

    As I do not know if it was the new build, or the Engineers that have managed this, I have decided to award you the achievement badge of Lost Insider Achievement Discoverer.

    Unfortunately I have discovered an issue with this badge........

    Hello Admiral,

    It does take consistent posting to earn accomplishments and achievements in the community, but I see that you did have a reply marked as answer in 2012 and that should be enough to earn at least your First Answer badge. I'll look into that separately. And if for some reason it is related to the Insider issue, all the better.

    Hi Suzy_G - I've been digging a bit furthur ...

    If I go into the Insider Hub on my Windows 10 machine, I see that I've been an Insider since 01/10/2014 (not sure if that's ddmmyyyy, or mmddyyyy)

    If I look at my profile in these forums, I see that I've been a member since August 3 2008

    (Ok, I'll admit that I'm not a prolific poster in these forums), but it seems a bit odd that in all my 7 years here, I haven't clocked-up a single Accomplishment, or Achievement ?
