System Requirements for Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 16237.1001?

I have a desktop with an Asus P5K-E and a Core 2 quad cpu that I am using to run 64bit Home build 16241 on so I am pretty familiar with your specs.  This is a classic example of why it is so helpful to post the kind of hardware info we were asking for.  By coincidence you got a reply from a user pretty familiar with your configuration.  Me.

Your issue is not about system specs.  It obviously has been running 64bit previews on the partition you are trying to upgrade.  Your question is about the specific build you are trying to install.  Make sure you disconnect all usb peripherals that are not needed to operate the computer.  Also remove any SD cards you might have left in the slot.  In other words run with as bare bones a system as you can.  Apparently 16241 breaks something that was working for you before.  Be sure to report this issue in the Feedback Hub and include a link for this thread in your commentary.

Does the same error happen if you clean install build 16232 using an iso created from the Insider ISO site?  16232 was just posted on the site a few days ago.  If that installs OK then you can set to Fast Ring and try to update to 16241 via WU again.

The reason is that Setup.exe for 64bit is itself a 64bit program and as such cannot run on a 32bit OS, which is what would be required for an upgrade.  FWIW, he is not trying to upgrade the 32bit copy.  He just commented that 32bit was working on another volume.

Thanks. I have Windows 10 Pro 32-Bit Build 16241.1001 installed on this IDE Hard Drive in this Custom-built Computer with an ASUS P5N-D Motherboard.

I have Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 16199.1000 installed on a different partition, on a SATA Hard Drive.

I always get to the point of Restart Now and when I Restart Now, from Restarting jumps to Configuring Update for Windows 10 and when it reaches 100% Complete, it jumps to Restarting and the computer restarts / reboots. When it reaches Windows 10, I see the Windows 10 flags and the computer reboots and goes back into the operating system.

I reformatted and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 14393.0 on the same partition, I am having problems on. Updated to Build 14393.1480, then installed the Upgrade to 15063.483 and finally downloaded Insider Build 16241.1001. After Restart Now, has the same exact problem.

Yet, 32-Bit Build 16241.1001, installs just fine.

Your pics are of the current status of your machine, not any troubleshooting.

1. Go to Settings->Upd & Sec->Troubleshoot.
2. Run both the Windows Update troubleshooter and the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
3. At the end of the each run, the troubleshooter will present you with a report. Please post Snippets of those.

I seem to remember several Years ago that If you had a 32 bit operating system on a computer you Can Not upgrade to the 64 bit version..It MUST be a CLEAN install, Using the ISO Disk and NOT Upgrading.. Fresh install.. you lose everything....

Also Make sure drive is NTSF format...Fat32 wont work ever....
