2021-08-23T17:15:36+00:00 Well, the mic & other USBs are fine with the host machine... it's just that the VM doesn't see them.
But I am switching the IBs from virtual to physical this Fall. This machine will become my IB machine & I am going to build a new PC for Windows 11. I built this one 8 yrs ago & it won't support Win11.
Yes, Voice Typing with Auto Punctuation is MUCH better than Dictation (of Win10). One of many nice things and improvements in Win11.
Did you see/read my entry "Win11 - Back to the Future" and one about some keyboard shortcuts?

2021-08-23T15:14:05+00:00 I'm a bit limited by the vm since it thinks I have no mic. But you cause me to mention the following...
In Win11, as opposed to 10, when you hit Win+H > its Settings (Gear) and turn on Auto Punctuate. This is the cool thing with it in Win11. And it does a bloody good job of it, too. If you did not have it On, try it 👍👍 Huge asset❗

Anyway, I just tried replacing the 3 files I have with the ones from Windows 10 and I will run the test again to see if it changes the results....
The results are different, actually worse than with the original drivers, I guess MS needs to sort this out..."<

Thanks anyways fg2001,
For giving that a try. I believe your correct by letting MS sort it out. We do have time before GA and beyond release. And there is bound to be some hiccups with any new build.
