2023-07-13T02:47:58+00:00 This problem that was first detected and reported in dev Build 23493.1000 is now also happening on this Canary Build 25905.1000.
If I have a USB drive connected when I boot the machine, the "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" icon does not show up in the system tray, even if it is enabled in taskbar settings.
As a workaround I have to use the Eject option from file explorer.
After that the Icon in the system tray shows up correctly also on all subsequent drives reconnections.
This was not happening on any previous builds; it is a new bug added with these Dev 23493 builds and now Canary 25905 Build.
Same exact bug as latest Dev build.
More days without a new Build, more new bugs added when we finally get one. 😵💫🤬
So much for MS internal testing, 🤣😵💫😜
Unfortunately, the Eject option is not available on bigger USB external drives, only on USB Flash drives.
So, in this case I cannot eject the drive and have to power off.

2023-07-12T23:14:30+00:00 Clean Installed from ISO, this build does not boot in SAFE MODE
Two different machines updated to 25905.1000, both fail to boot with any Safe Mode options.
Only way out is by powering off the machine and rebooting in normal mode.
Here is my FBH report: 😎🤷♂️

2023-07-12T21:31:57+00:00 Another silly variant for selecting the Background picture, it hides the taskbar and desktop for no reason. We already reported this in previous older builds.
Probably another bad decision of A.I. it just does not get it. 😜🤷♂️
.
This one is when MS removes the variant for the DesktopSpotlightRejuvenatedFlyout, it does not make any sense to me. 😝
They should go back to the original variant 1.
This is when MS uses the variant 1, make much more sense than the one above. 😉
