Windows 11 Wifi Problem

Hi,

I updated to window 11 but my wif won't work. When I go into device manager it shows an error with the wifi adapter - Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 Wireless Network Adapter. I tried updating the driver but windows said it is the latest version. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. I have also tried resetting the adapter but again no luck. Does anyone have a solution?

I also have the same issues after upgrading to win 11. I have followed every tutorial online, watched heaps of YouTube videos. I contacted a technician who quoted me $100 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours to look into it, so I formatted my PC back to factory settings. If anyone comes up with an answer, I would love to hear it. Please help if you can. My PC laptop is a Acer predator triton 500. Nvidea GTX 2060. Unfortunately, my desktop PC can't get win 11. It says so in the update page.

I have the same problem with the adapter Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz wireless on an Lenovo Yoga C740-15. About after 40 hours all wireless connections (Wifi and bluetooth) are not available. Installing new drivers had no succes (Error 43, Error 10 and so on in the device manager).
The Bios is the latest version without any problems. I was going back to Windows 10 and the system is now running good. It is definitly a problem of Windows 11.

The first thing I would check is your motherboard/computer running the latest bios and also check the router for the latest firmware.

Have you tried changing 5Ghz channel in the router?

Does the Event Viewer show any errors, the following link shows you where.

My computer is SP7 running Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz wireless card.

I also had no wireless after an update on Windows 11 Dev channel and repaired it by Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers from Intel

Although it says for W10 it works on W11 as well and I removed all network drivers in the device manager until the network card didn't appear in the device manager, rebooted.

I used another computer to download the latest drivers for my Intel network card then used a USB stick to transfer to my SP7 and started the network driver update .exe program and installed the new drivers, rebooted again.

Once back on the desktop no errors were reported in the device manager so all I had to do is to connect to the router and sign in so had the Internet working again.

Having other makes and model computers you should be able to do the same procedure (from your network card manufacturer) to get your wireless card working, clean installing drivers might be a better method than relying on Windows Update for drivers as it's a bit hit and miss IMO.

Your idea to remove ALL drivers worked for about 40+- hours and today I am back to the same problem, 5 GHz band connects but doesn't get a proper IP address but 2.4 GHz works just fine. I tried an older USB AC Realtek and it works with no problem. Both units work fine in windows 10. But my ASUS - "Intel AX200 160MHz" PCI card just isn't working correctly in Windows 11. Any other ideas?

5GHz (when I reverted windows 11 back to Windows 10 this worked, I did a clean install back to windows 11 - same problem)

IP = 169.254.2.72

Sub = 255.255.0.0

No gateway..

2.4 GHz - all good

IP = 192.168.X.X

Sub = 255.255.255.0

Windows 11 - when I connect to my wifi via 5.GHz band I connect but do not get an IP address and windows just shows "No Internet, secured" - if I switch my connection to the 2.4 GHz band I connect with no problems.

I rolled back my windows 11 back to Windows 10 and my wifi worked fine on both bands. I have tried the latest drivers from Intel for my AX200 wifi 6 card with no luck on Windows 11. Do you have any suggestions?
