At least we know this is a worldwide problem for Microsoft. When this happened to my computer yesterday I thought I was an isolated case. Microsoft better get their best team on fixing it fast, I know wishful thinking.

Hey, I've signed up for the Windows Insider programme from the website. However, when I go to the Windows Insider tab in Windows Update settings, it gives me the error "We can't reach the Windows Insider Programme right now. Please try again later or check the forums for info".
I've tried restarting my computer (multiple times), disabling my antivirus + firewall, and enabling all diagnostics data to Windows. It still isn't working. Can anyone advise?

make sure send optional data is enabled
Make sure data collection is set on three.
If all those settings are correct, then maybe it's a MS issue so needs to be sorted by them. FYI all my beta's, Dev's and Canary aren't facing this issue so it might also be location issue.
